I love celebrating love in all of its multi-faceted and multi- coloured glory, and specialise in creating magical celebrant wedding ceremonies for those free spirited people who want something a little bit different.
If you fancy theming it, whether completely or just as a nod to your favourite fan fiction, I’m the celebrant for you!
There is no prescribed order, we will design your ceremony to perfectly reflect you.
Music, readings, symbolic rituals, vows and ring exchanges…you have the freedom to choose just how your ceremony will flow.
Your ceremony will be inclusive, love and fun-filled, bright and colourful and you will be at the heart of everything I create.
How Does it all Work?
Are celebrant weddings legal?
Not yet!
- For a marriage to be recognised in law in England & Wales, a legally binding ceremony, most commonly known as a registration of marriage MUST take place.
- This will normally occur at a Register Office.
- (the same applies to a Civil Partnership registration.)
- The ceremony can be very short and basic with no exchange of rings, vows, or other ritual if you don’t want it to.
- Once completed you have the choice of where, how and when you enjoy your celebrant ceremony. Anything really does go!
A registration currently costs £35p.p. for your notices and about £49 for the room hire at a register office. Add on the cost of your marriage schedule and you can legally be married for less than £130.
Before Your Day
We will have as many meetings as you require, either on Zoom or face to face at a mutually convenient location. You can book a discovery meeting with me via my online calendar now.
I will provide you with a questionnaire and I’ll then combine your answers with the information I gleaned from our initial meetings as I design your ceremony. You then get to add all of your edits.
Closer to your ceremony we will arrange a Couple’s Vow Writing Workshop at a time to suit us all, as we explore exactly what you want to say to each other.
Where appropriate we will arrange a rehearsal for you and all your key players, not only does this put nerves at ease, but it also helps create that unique buzz that surrounds all my ceremonies.
On Your Special Day
I always plan to be at your venue at least an hour before the ceremony.
This is so I can sort out any last-minute issues and calm any more of those last-minute nerves.
I deliver a fun filled ceremony with any music, readings and rituals you’ve chosen.
You now have the choice of receiving a keepsake copy of your script in a presentation box on the day add in a , or a digital downloadable copy after your ceremony.
Once your ceremony is delivered and my equipment packed away, I will stay on as Mistress of Ceremonies to help co-ordinate the smooth flow of the rest of the day.
I’ll help the photographer round up the waifs and strays before the big group photo. Announce you into your wedding breakfast. I’ll Introduce the speeches and orchestrate the big set pieces, including the cake cutting and the first dance announcement. I’ll stay and assist you up until your first dance, before I bow out and let your celebrations continue as you party on down
