Vow Renewal Ceremonies
Say “We Still Do”
As you renew your vows in style & celebrate that milestone.
Be it an anniversary, an excuse to have the wedding celebration you didn’t have the first time round, or a celebration of surviving ill health or a ‘sticky patch’; vow renewal ceremonies are a wonderful way to rededicate yourself to your spouse.
A much more relaxed affair than a wedding, a vow renewal gives you the opportunity to reseal your deal in whatever way you want.
From the small and intimate, ‘Just the two of us’, to the rather more lavish no holds barred celebration of longevity in front of all your family and friends.
No one knows precisely when wedding anniversaries were first celebrated. But the tradition is believed to go back at least to the Middle Ages. At that time in the Germanic regions of Europe, a husband crowned his wife with a silver wreath on the 25th anniversary of their wedding day.
If the couple was fortunate enough to still like each other and reach their 50th wedding anniversary, the husband presented his wife with a gold wreath!
Now a generation of UK couples are welcoming a card from the King as they celebrate their diamond or 60th wedding anniversaries. You can do so for yourself or for others via royal. uk/ anniversary-messages.(Did you know that you can also apply for an anniversary card for 65 years / 70 years and then every year after!)
Luckily, for us modern couples at least, as the centuries rolled on, more and more anniversary milestones were added, and a fantastic excuse born for us to be showered with gifts on a yearly basis from our attentive partners and an even better excuse for a good party!

Before you day
We will have as many meetings as you require, either on Zoom or face to face at a mutually convenient location.
I provide you with a questionnaire and will combine your answers with the information I gleaned from our initial meetings as I design your ceremony. I will email you your draft and you will have the opportunity to add any edits.
On Your Special Day
I always plan to be at your venue at least an hour before the ceremony. This is so I can sort out any last-minute issues and calm any more of those last-minute nerves.
I will deliver a fun filled ceremony with any music, readings and rituals you’ve chosen.
You now have the choice of receiving a keepsake copy of your script in a presentation box on the day or a digital downloadable copy after your ceremony.
